Just after my interview (not so good), Matteo sent me a screenshot of it. A lot of Italian blogger are watching France 24 online and they are commenting via Skype chat.

Everything is working fine here in the France 24 HQ. A small desk has two people working on it. They are collecting news and opinions on blogopshere for the France 24 special election webs site. Great work.

First reaction from the candidate

Sarkozy, Bayrou and Le Pen commented their results. Royal not yet. The lady in red will speak shortly and now it is all freezed in our blogroom. We start to relax even if we are expecting the second round of international live interview from here.

First results: Sarkozy and Royal to the second round

Every poll says that Sarkozy and Royal are in the top two spots. Bayrou is only third, seven point below Royal.

It is time for live interview

We cannot talk about numbers

For the French law we cannot say anything about data until 20.00. Outside France the media are breaking news every minute. We have to wait other 40 minutes, but the results seems pretty simple. Le Temps in Switzerland replaced its home page with their results.

Inside the blogroom

We are all very excited. In 30 minutes there will be the first interview for the France 24 special live night. Every hour at 30 there will be a live interview. The first one is Carl.

In a few minutes France 24 will switch the home page (english and french) to a special website with a live video feed (english and french), a breaking news and post from press agency and our blogs. You can’t follow us but You have three webcam around France 24 studios.
